Biography:

He graduated as Ingeniero Tecnico Superior de Caminos, Canales y Puertos (6 year civil engineering degree) at University of Cantabria (Spain). Following a period as consultant in structural engineering (buildings and transport infrastructure), he joined the Design & Analysis Department in ENSA where he has accumulated near 30 years experience in the nuclear industry.

At the time of start of the TRUSS project, he had 3 papers and 2 patents and experience training final year civil engineering students during their work placement in ENSA.
